artificial leather
artificial leather are mainly polyvinyl chloride artificial leather, in addition to polyamide, polyurethane, polyolefin artificial leather. below we will detail under the various varieties of artificial leather.
polyvinyl chloride artificial leather
There are 3 categories of products:
Ordinary artificial leather, also known as non-foaming artificial leather. Most of the flat cloth, canvas, recycled cloth as the base, with a direct coating method. Because the coating is dense and the paste can penetrate into the pores of the base fabric, the finished product feels hard and wear-resistant. Mainly used in the production of wear-resistant packaging bags, construction and industrial accessories.
② Foam artificial leather. Usually knitted fabric as the base, the surface layer paste contains foaming agent and its additives, in the gelation of foaming to form a microporous structure, so the finished product light, feel full, soft. Produced by transfer coating. Used in the production of gloves, bags, bags, clothing and furniture.
③ Suede artificial leather. Commonly known as faux suede. Its variety, production methods are also diverse. The microporous surface layer of artificial leather after gelation can be made into smooth suede leather after grinding by sand roller. The coating layer is fluffed and stretched by a fluffing roller to produce a curly suede. Suitable for use as a sneaker header and edging material. Adding soluble salts (such as salt) to the coating paste, and then dissolving the salt with water after gelation, can make the surface layer microporous and suede. Using electrostatic flocking method (see plastic processing), the 0.5~1mm long synthetic fiber short pile is planted on the polyvinyl chloride artificial leather coated with adhesive, and the suede leather can be obtained, which is suitable for making packaging bags and decorations.
polyamide artificial leather
Moisture permeability, moisture absorption is better than polyvinyl chloride artificial leather, and has a better appearance and feel, commonly used in the production of boxes, bags and so on.
Polyurethane artificial leather
Varieties developed in the early 1960 s. It is made of a fleece cloth as a base and a polyurethane solution as a coating. The microporous layer obtained by impregnating and coating the fleece cloth with polyurethane solution and solidifying it in a water bath is then ground into polyurethane suede. This artificial leather is light and soft, wear-resistant, breathable, warm, and is not affected by changes in temperature and temperature. It is suitable for making clothing, bags, bags and decorative items.
Polyolefin artificial leather
With low density polyethylene as the main raw material, it is made by calendering and laminating method. This kind of artificial leather is light, firm and smooth, suitable for making bags and bags.
